From 1833 until 1956 the Baldwin Locomotive Works of Philadelphia was the world’s largest producer of steam, electric, battery, fireless and diesel locomotives. This catalogue lists over 13,000 builder’s photographs of finished view of locomotives and the personalities that helped build them, now housed in the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania archives.
